Production Context

This is a multicast production with a female narrator already cast and recording. An editor/audio engineer is attached and will handle mastering, sound consistency, and cleanup. For these roles, we’re simply looking for the right voice and personality for the male characters.

 

Story Vibe

This is a character-driven sci-fi story where humor and action run side by side. Think sharp dialogue, emotional momentum, and characters who keep their sense of humor even when things go sideways.

The protagonist is a snarky, impulsive female lead who tends to overestimate her odds of success and jump in anyway. The male characters react to this energy in different ways.

Age: Early 20’s

Jacob is charming, cool, and endearingly nerdy, (at moments kid-like enthusiasm) buoyed by an indomitable optimism with steel underneath. He’s calm, confident, genius but never showy, making even the most complex science feel like an easy late-night conversation over a drink. Approachable but capable, his wit is often subtle, his charm disarming, and when he’s tested, the edge is unmistakable.

His voice is calm, articulate, and emotionally distant—so composed it’s unsettling. He never raises his voice; when anger surfaces, warmth simply disappears. He doesn’t sound like he’s trying to intimidate. He sounds like he already won.
